I’ve been working with dogs for over 20 years, and have always used science-based, positive reinforcement. I followed the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants’ LIMA statement. To learn more about this, please visit: iaabc.org
What does it mean to be a Certified Behavior Consultant? I have completed over 300 hours experience in canine behavior consulting (on fear, phobias, compulsive behaviors, etc.) and have several Veterinarians in the area that actively refer to me and am proud of my five-star reviews!
I love the challenge of a tough problem and feel that one of my strengths is creative problem solving catered to you and your family! I deeply enjoy working with families and am always happy to help! I have my Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State in Psychology and have continued my education in the form of in person conferences, research and networking and learning from other trainers! And as always, I am a constant learner! I plan to continue increasing my knowledge daily with books, conferences and workshops!
I love what I do and know that it shows any time I’m interacting with my clients! Please feel free to reach out to me, by email, Instagram, or text, if you have any questions at all!
Humane, Science-Based Training
At Pin-Up Pup Training, we utilize humane rewards-based training that is rooted in the latest research in animal behavioral science. Our positive reinforcement approach helps create a strong bond between you and your dog that is based on trust. We train real world skills, working directly in your home or on field trips to distracting environments.
We have experience working with dogs of all breeds and ages, and we address a wide variety of training goals! We work with puppies learning life skills, helping fearful dogs build confidence, basic obedience, clicker training, helping dogs with reactivity and aggression, leash manners, and therapy dog training.
